How can a God of love be a God of wrath and judgment?

When you see some you love suffering from the consequences of unwise decisions or from others, do you react with indifference or acceptance? No! In the same way, God's wrath to sin isn't a "cranky explosion, but his settled opposition to the cancer... Which is eating out the insides of the human race that he loves with His whole being."

Jesus on Anger- thought of the day

Jesus’ goal in teaching on anger was not to justify an elaborate legal system. Jesus was calling on His

followers to attack each sin at its root and to read the law not as a set of right actions but as a description of right

values.
